Who is the Young Artist Program designed for?

The Young Artist Program is designed for dancers ages 6–11 who show natural aptitude for classical ballet and are ready for a focused, structured learning environment. Because the program is intentionally small, dancers receive individual corrections and attention throughout each class.

Does my child need previous ballet experience?

Accepted Answer

Previous ballet training is helpful but not required. Placement is based on the individual dancer, including coordination, musicality, focus, responsiveness to instruction, and readiness for the program.

Question 3

What should my child wear?

Dancers should wear a black leotard, pink ballet tights, and ballet slippers. Hair should be neatly secured in a ballet bun. No skirts.

How many dancers are in each class?

Enrollment is limited to 8 dancers to ensure individualized instruction and personal attention.

What is the tuition?

Tuition is $125/month. Tuition is paid in 9 monthly installments (September–May).

What if my child misses a class?

Because enrollment reserves your dancer's place in the program, tuition is not prorated for missed classes.

How do I enroll?

Enrollment is by placement. Families may request a complimentary placement class using the form above. Following the class, families of dancers who are a good fit for the program will receive an enrollment invitation.
